An interesting game for Metapan (11-1) which hosted in Metapan second-best A.Lobos (9-2). First ranked Metapan had an easy win 92-61. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of A.Lobos. Metapan forced 19 A.Lobos turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Metapan made 7 blocks. Darnell Johnson helped adding 12 points, 18 rebounds and 7 assists. The best for the losing side was American guard Noah Harris (185-2002, college: SNHU) with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks. Salvadorenos' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Independiente moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Santa Ana. Salvadorenos at the other side keep the fifth position with six games lost. Independiente will play against Santa Ana (#7) at home in the next round. No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Cojute (7-5) beat 8th ranked Santa Tecla (5-7) in Cojutepeque 84-78. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. They keep the eighth position with seven games lost. Cojute will play against higher ranked A.Lobos (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Santa Tecla will play against Salvadorenos (#5) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Very expected game when 9th ranked Ahuachapan (3-8) was smashed at home by third ranked San Salvador (10-2) 121-90. San Salvador dominated down low during the game scoring 90 of its points in the paint compared to Ahuachapan's 54 and made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Ahuachapan 43-26 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. San Salvador players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Ahuachapan's players. It was a great evening for who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds. helped adding 14 points, 6 rebounds and 17 assists.
